Holly & The Boys

A Journey of Faith…

About

Holly ChapaThank you for taking the time to see what God is doing in our lives. We are on an exciting Journey of faith and it is always an adventure!

For those of you who may not know anything about our family, I’ll give you a brief history. My husband, Beto, and I were campus pastors in Nashville,  Tennessee.  In 2000, we took a team of university students on a mission trip to New Zealand. We fell in love with the people there and by March 2001 we, along with our 11 month old son, Isaac, moved to Auckland, NZ as missionaries. We had four very fruitful years there and were involved in campus ministry, youth group, Asian Bible study groups, Bible/Leadership school,  and many other outreaches. In 2004, we were asked if we would move to Melbourne, Australia to serve the church there as they were in transition with new pastors coming in. We were surrounded by great spiritual family there and made a lot of new friends during our eleven months  in Melbourne…until the unexpected happened. On October 22nd, 2005 Beto suddenly passed away from  anaphylactic  shock due to a food allergy, he was 31 years old and we had two young sons with our third on the way. The boys and I packed our bags to move to my hometown of Huntsville, Alabama for a season until we could get back on our feet.

God has been good to us and life has never been better. There is not enough room here to tell about all He has done in our lives. I have just finished writing a book, so if you are interested, you can find the details of all of the miracles there.

The most exciting news is that we are on our way back to Australia, just 2 short years from the day we left! With the full support of our pastors at The Rock Family Worship Center in Huntsville, AL., we are being sent out as missionaries to serve at Christian Outreach Centre, Sydney. I will do my best to keep you updated on where we are and what we are doing.
